These days, the internet is full of different comparison websites, all competing to help potential customers to find the best hotel deal. But it is worth remembering that not everyone is as cost focused as these sites would lead you to believe. There is still a strong market for quality hotels from customers who put the standard of their stay above any cost savings. In the same way that Marks & Spencer food hall still sells strongly, despite the much lower prices of Aldi and Lidl, so quality hotels will always survive in the face of cut price competition.

Word of mouth will eventually spread and build your customer base, but when you first start out, no one will know you or anything about you.

These days, people want to see so much more than a couple of badly retouched pictures in the tour brochure before they will commit to a hotel or resort. The internet is so full of information that people can research every last detail of your hotel before they make their choice. So it’s up to you to present the information they are looking for in the most attractive and engaging way, to ensure your hotel stands out from the crowd and gains those all important bookings.
